
After the stupendous success of their recent Modern Indian Art auction, online auction house Astaguru will be hosting a ‘Fine Jewellery & Silver’ auction on November 25th and 26th, 2017. Touted to be one of the most awaited events by art collectors and connoisseurs, the jewellery auction includes timeless artifacts.
Catering to a wide spectrum of demographics of the collector community, the rare pieces range from indigenous antiques representing the design patterns of different parts of India. The auction will also include an impressive number of European jewellery and silver pieces.
Included in this collection is a necklace comprising of approximately 538 carats. The two strand old-mined necklace comprises of 42 exuberant emeralds which is part of Astaguru’s ‘Fine Jewellery & Silver’ auction. Another interesting lot to anticipate is the Navratna/Navgrah stones studded with diamonds in pink enamel work. Its composition is based upon the principle wherein nine kinds of precious stones were amalgamated in one singular piece of jewellery to represent the nine gods of the Hindu universe.
