Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels have taken up an initiative to distribute food packets to the needy in Kodihalli and Jeevan Bhima Nagar areas, with the support of local corporators. The hotel team has been preparing and distributing food packets while maintaining social distancing to ensure the safety of its staff and that of the community. The group's flagship property, Hotel Royal Orchid has been continually distributing food packets in and around Old Airport Road since the lockdown and will continue it till the situation becomes normal again.
Commenting on the initiative, Chander Baljee, Chairman & Managing Director said "These are difficult times, the pandemic has brought with it fear and uncertainty. The ones at the bottom of the pyramid are most affected and it is our duty to support those in need. I have urged teams at all our 60 hotels across India to distribute food to the needy. We have started this activity in other cities too.”
