The Karnataka Chief Minister Mr Siddaramaiah landed in New Delhi this after noon, on March 6, to call on the Congress President Mr Rahul Gandhi and finalise the candiates for the ensuing Elections to the Rajya Sabaha on March 23.
There are four seats, of which Congress can easily win in three seats from Karnataka.
When the media persons swarmed Mr Siddaramaih and asked about the purpose of his visit, he said, he came to get the Party High Command's clearance for the Party candidates list for the Rajya Sabha Elections. When a correspondent asked about the entry of Mr Ashok Kheny in to the Congress Party, the agitated Mr Siddaramaiah quipped, Mr Kheny had not gone to Jail, clearing indicating that no one can question Mr Kheny's entry in to the party.
