Apparel Manufacturers of India, one of India’s prominent and renowned apparel groups of manufacturers and traders, hosted ADVAIT 8.0 at RK Convention Centre last week. The fairwas inaugurated by Dr. Nally Kuppuswami Chettiar (Nally Chinnasami Chetty), Mr. Tashveen (Maharaja Textiles Malaysia), Dr. M S Asif Ali (Majestic Maharaja Pvt Ltd), Mr. L Raveendranji (S Nallaperumel & Sons, Nagercoil), Mr. Vishal Gowda (Roop Sangam – Bangalore), Mr. R Karunanidhi and his daughter RK Arasi of R K Convention Centre.
More than 220 brands across India participated in the fair to showcase their upcoming festive collection. As market sentiments evolve and consumer patterns get uplifted, the fair became a confluence for manufacturers, retailers, and MBOs to come to one place and build new opportunities for businesses. The event drew nearly 1,400 retailers from across South India.
This time, brands from key cities like Mumbai, Indore and Surat participated heavily. Some key brands include K V Tex Cuddalore, Pothys from 12 branches, Roop Sangam Bangalore, RSB Retail India Ltd across Andhra and Telangana, Marri Retail Pvt Ltd across Andhra & Telangana, GVT Mall Telangana, Lucky Retail Stores Pvt Ltd. Andhra & Telangana, Anugraha Textile Garments – Karnataka, RMKV Silks Tamil Nadu, Naidu Hall Tamil Nadu, Sawant & Sons - Ponda Goa and Kanekar Corner, Sanquelim – Goa.
In addition to the guests of honour, who inaugurated the fair, many international buyers also visited from Kuwait, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
