Dr Vyankatesh Metan is a renowned Wildlife Photographer from Solapur, Maharashtra. Dr. Metan is doing bird watching since last 24 years. He has witnessed many amazing moments in the nature from which he has learned so many things which was not taught him in his school / colleges. For him nature is greatest teacher.
He has travelled widely to many National Parks and Forests in and outside India. His solo exhibition on Nature Photography was displayed in many occassions. He is awarded membership of National Geographical Society. His bird's photographs are published in Mr. Maruti Chittampallie's book at the Prestigious Vasundhara Mitra Award in 2014.
