
Café Coffee Day is committed to harnessing the potential of people who can excel and deliver in spite of any limitations, in the world of work. On the occasion of World Disability Day, December 3rd, 2017, Café Coffee Day brought about a new impetus towards their employees with disabilities. The youth brand conducted a special activity for persons with disabilities employed in its offices, recognizing their contribution to their business along with acknowledging their importance as staff members. This momentous day was filled with lots of entertainment, games, enjoyable activities followed by lunch. The implementation of this initiative was to commemorate the immense value that they add to Café Coffee Day.
This engaging activity not only motivated the employees, but also boosted a feeling of inclusiveness amongst them. All suchemployees were called to Café Coffee Day offices in their respective cities where a variety of activities were conductedfor each market.

Café Coffee Day is not just India’s largest chain of cafes, but also a champion of Persons with Disabilities. They currently have 174 persons with disabilities employed pan India who primarily work at the entry level at the café taking care of customers.Along with supporting this cause for more than a decade, they providespecial training to the disabled that presents them with equal job opportunities. In 2013, Café Coffee Day was awarded “The NCPEDP – Shell Helen Keller Award 2013” by National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People for being a role model company in helping to generate employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
