The felicitation and farewell program was held on Monday at the premises of the Government Lower Primary School in Chikkajagaluru, where he was honored and bid farewell with great respect.


The program was presided over by teacher Tippeswamy G.H. Distinguished guests included CRP Malatesh, BIERT Rajappa, BRC Vedamurthy, headmasters of various schools, teachers Kamala, Manjunathacharya, Ravi Shankar, Channakeshava, Umesh, Marutesh, Maharudrappa, School SDMC President Papayya P., Gram Panchayat Member Mahanthesh N., along with former students and villagers.


Background of Teacher B. Venkatesh


B. Venkatesh is the son of Ettinabadayya and Boramma of Hunasekatte in Chitradurga taluk. He began his teaching career in 1994 and served as an Assistant Teacher at the Government Higher Primary School in S. Bidre, Kadur taluk of Chikkamagaluru district, from 1994 to 1997.


In 1997, he was transferred to the Government Lower Primary School in Chikkajagaluru (Thammanatti), Chitradurga taluk, where he continued to serve as an Assistant Teacher until now. Having earned a promotion as Headmaster, he has been transferred to the Government Higher Primary School at Sultanipura (Lingadahalli).


A Beloved Teacher and Guide to the Community


Since joining the Chikkajagaluru school, B. Venkatesh has remained one of the most beloved teachers among students. Beyond teaching, he has also been a guide and mentor to villagers and parents, imparting valuable life lessons along with education.


Credited with Creating a Green School Environment


B. Venkatesh played a key role in creating a lush green environment in the school by planting and nurturing trees. He cared for the plants as if they were his own children and worked tirelessly to ensure a pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere on the school campus.

Overall, B. Venkatesh served the Government Lower Primary School in Chikkajagaluru with devotion, treating it like a temple. During his long and distinguished 28-year career, he illuminated the lives of countless students through education and guidance. Recognized as an outstanding teacher, he now moves to a new school following his promotion.
