He was addressing the gathering at the convocation ceremony of Karnataka Central University, Kalaburagi, in the presence of Hon'ble Vice President Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan. The Governor stated that students should utilize their knowledge not only for personal success but also for the progress and upliftment of society and the nation.


 Highlighting India's growing stature, he said that the country is emerging as a significant global power and that its youth are its greatest strength. He stressed that the role of young people is crucial in building a self-reliant India, and urged them to uphold excellence, integrity, and a spirit of service in all their endeavors.


The Governor further noted that quality education, research, and innovation have significantly contributed to national development. In line with the National Education Policy, he underlined the importance of multidisciplinary education and skill development, expressing confidence that the university will play a pivotal role in this direction.


 Emphasizing environmental responsibility, he stated that conservation is as important as development. He called upon the younger generation to adopt sustainable practices, remain sensitive to nature, and act as responsible citizens.


 Quoting the Bhagavad Gita, "Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana," he explained that one should perform duties with full dedication without being concerned about the results. Congratulating the graduating students, he encouraged them to use their knowledge, skills, and values for the welfare of society.


 Vice Chancellor Prof. Battu Satyanarayana and other distinguished dignitaries were present on the occasion.
