Ideas were submitted under nine broad themes, including environment, mobility, heritage, health, governance, safety, rural-urban integration, and others. Out of the 2500+ entries, an initial shortlist of 340 entries was made after rigorous scrutiny on various qualitative parameters. This was further pruned to 100 nos, and presentations were made to expert group of panelists on 19th September 2025. The panelists then selected 10 ideas that were presented to the Honorable MP and other dignitaries at the grand finale on 20th September 2025.
'RationEase' was selected as the winning idea. The team presented an innovative idea on making the Public Distribution System a more accessible one with technology. The first runners-up were 'Chamundi Coders', who presented a very simple yet innovative idea on improving tourist experiences. The second runner-up, 'Ecosmart Innovators', presented ideas on how to improve manage waste effectively and ways to improve circular economy. The winners also received prize money from the sponsors and also good interest from corporates leaders on taking some ideas for testing and implementation in association with the local bodies.
The event concluded on a brief talk by the Honorable MP, where he welcomed the ideas from the citizens of Mysuru and praised the efforts made to prepare such detailed presentations. He also guided the finalists on the steps that can be taken forward on the ideas presented. The MP also thanked the event partners who brought this event together, namely Young Indians (Yi) and Kalisu Foundation. The event was supported by Equalize RCM, Cycle Group, RKB Buildpro, Sunpure Group, Ibis Styles and Big FM.
