Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Karnataka organized their State Annual Meeting 2024-25 in the city today. The Annual meeting was followed by a conference on “Karnataka : Leading Technology & Knowledge Growth”.
CII Karnataka also announced the election of new office bearers for CII Karnataka State Council for the year 2025 -26. Mr Rabindra Srikantan, Founder and Managing Director, ASM Technologies Ltd elected as the Chairman while Mr Guruprasad Mudlapur, President Bosch Group India and Managing Director, Bosch Ltd will serve as the Vice Chairman.

Rabindra Srikantan is the Founder and Managing Director of ASM Technologies Limited, a publicly listed company in India. With over 35 years of experience, Rabindra brings a global perspective to leadership in engineering, design, and manufacturing. He holds dual M.S. degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Louisiana, USA, and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India . Under his leadership, ASM has built a global presence delivering Engineering R&D and Design-led Manufacturing solutions. The company has operations in India, USA, Singapore, UK, Europe and Japan. Over the last three decades, Rabindra has led ASM in providing advanced technology solutions, including Artificial Intelligence, to customers worldwide. As a senior industry leader, he has played an active role in policy advocacy and technology innovation. His contributions to skill development and engineering research are well recognized in industry circles. In addition to his role at ASM Technologies Limited, he serves as President and COO of ASM Digital Technologies Inc., USA, Director of ASM Digital Technologies Pte Ltd., Singapore and Director of ASM HHV Engineering Pvt Ltd, Designated Partner at RV Forms & Gears LLP and Independent Director on board of Deccan Cements Limited
Mr Guruprasad Mudlapur, Vice Chairman, CII Karnataka State Council 2024-25
Guruprasad Mudlapur has been the President of the Bosch Group in India and the Managing Director of Bosch Limited since July 1, 2023, and Chief Technology Officer of Bosch Limited, since 2022. He was the Vice President at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions India (now BGSW) in 2013 where he headed the electronics engineering division and was responsible for design & development of Automotive Semiconductors and Electronics Control Units. He was also the Regional President and Managing Director of Bosch Automotive Electronics Pvt Ltd. He also managed the project house for Electrification within Bosch India and was responsible for Electrification Engineering unit set-up and building future ready competencies for Electric Light Commercial vehicles, Passenger cars, Hydrogen Internal combustion Engines and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. Prior to joining Bosch, he was with NXP Semiconductors at Singapore and The Netherlands in the area of Semiconductor development for Mobile, Personal Communication and Digital Televisions for almost 15 years. Mr Guruprasad holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University in 1988 and has completed EGMP at IIM-B in 2011.
