The 7th IEEE International Conference on “Computational Systems and Information Technology for Sustainable Solutions [CSITSS - 2023]” was organized jointly by RV College of Engineering in association with Florida International University (FIU), USA, Technically cosponsored by IEEE Bangalore Section on November 2-4, 2023.
The Theme of the international conference is R2C2E2 (Renewable Energy, Robotics, Computing, Communication, E-mobility, and Embedded Systems). It is the seventh successful venture with participants from India and abroad. All peer-reviewed, selected, and presented papers(187 research papers) were presented during the conference will be submitted for possible inclusion in the IEEE digital library. The program was started with Vedic rendering by Dr. Bharath, former mathematics professor, Malnad college of Engineering Hassan.
Dr. K N Subramanya, the principal RVCE welcomed the dignitaries for the conference highlighting the significance of the conference and the achievements of RVCE globally. Dr. S.G Srivani , the conference chair, during her address briefed about the activities planned for 3 days conference. Dr. S.S. Iyengar, chief guest, recipient of the Rajyostava award 2023, under NRI quota from Govt of Karnataka was felicitated during the conference. He praised the quality of students of RVCE and their research paper writing capabilities. He assured the support of Florida University , Miami, USA in establishing the centre of Excellence in collaboration with RVCE.
The guest of honour, Mr. Sanjay Saha, Vice president silicon Engineering country manager, synaptic India , during his address congratulated RV for its sustainable measures implementation and extended his support in the areas of neural networks , IoT and Embedded systems in future.
He spoke on human cognitive intelligent enhancement (sensor, process, connect) through IoT. Senior person, Venkat Kondavati brought out the capability of embedded technologies in collaboration with RVCE in developing new products in his message.
Mr. C. R. Srinivas , Manager, Ener Fra projects/ India) stressed upon the renewable energy measures to meet the demand of 540 gigawatts of wind power and rest from solar energy. He highlighted the importance of renewable energy in sustainable environments.
Dr. Deepa Shenoy, Chair Cybersecurity IEEE gave insights of IEEE and its initiatives in conducting the big conference like this. She also promised to extend her support in coming days to conduct conferences.
Vice Principal, Dr. Geetha K S in her vote of thanks address remembered the contributions of the sponsors, and thanked all people who helped during the conference. Prof. Raja Vidya did the Master of ceremony during the Event.
