Karnataka Football Players Association met Sports Minister Narayana Gowda
Earlier this week officials from Karnataka Football Players Association met the newly inducted Karnataka Sports Minister Narayana Gowda at the Vidhana Soudha office to submit a memorandum and to discuss some important issues related to Football, the KFPA officials include Venkatesh Shanmugam, President and Assistant Coach of National Team , Pradeep Kumar , General Secretary and NS Manju, Treasurer KFPA and former International player.

The Karnataka Football Players Association (KFPA) members worked tremendously through out these years to bring about awareness and good change in Indian football by organising several leagues under 19 across Karnataka.
Venkatesh Shanmugam, President of the KFPA expressed his concern to the government to recognise their Association and also to assist them in their Vision and Mission to take more Indian footballers to international turfs eventually.
The Minister was impressed with the work of KFPA and verbally agreed to support and assist them in their vision and mission and also offered the KFPA members responsibilities in the governments vision for Khelo India.
