The office of the Chief Electoral Officer had organized a special interaction programme with the millennium voters on Thursday. Millennium voters are those who are going to exercise their franchise for the first time on May 12. Many of these enthusiastic first time voters had turned up to meet the election officials and were very curious to know more about the election process. During the interaction, the voters enthusiastically narrated their excitement as to how they were waiting for their first vote to be cast. The students also said that they strongly believed that their votes played a very important role as it was also necessary for every voter to exercise his/her franchise.

On the occasion, the students took a pledge that they will participate in the ethical voting process. This was followed by a skit by youths with a theme on need to vote. CEO Sanjiv Kumar who interacted with these youths said that he was happy to know how the millennium voters were enthusiastic about their participation this time.
