Pearl Academy Hosts Creative Career Conclave in Bangalore

Pearl Academy has commenced its admission process for the academic year 2018-19. The entrance test will be held on April 28 in Bangalore. The last date of application is April 23. The academy has recently introduced new UG and PG courses in Media & Communication and Advertising & Marketing and 50% Merit Scholarship on Tuition Fee for these new courses is available to select students. Pearl Academy, India’s leading institution in design, fashion, business and media, today organized ‘Creative Career Conclave’ in the city for students and parents. The conclave provided an interactive platform for discussing opportunities and courses available for careers in creative fields. Pearl Academy, which is the only Indian educational institute to be ranked among the top 25 fashion schools globally by Business of Fashion and has been judged as the Best Design Institute by Assocham for 3 years in a row, arranged a discussion on career paths available in various creative domains. Prof Nandita Abraham, CEO Pearl Academy;Kaleem Khan, Luxury Brands Expert; Jewellyn Jude, Fashion Designer;Sneha Walke, VPSouth India - Xchange4Media, Abhijit Bansod, FounderDirector - Studio ABD and our Alumni Aradhya Ahuja were part of the discussions. 

Commenting on the eventMs Nandita Abraham, CEO Pearl Academy, “It was a great honor for us to be recognised as the Best Design College in India by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). This is an acknowledgement of our focus on ensuring that students have the highest level of industry readiness through deep engagement and live projects. Through the Creative Career Conclave, we intend to make students and parents aware of the various career options and opportunities available in the domains of fashion, design, business and media. We have had many students from this region, specially Bangalore who are all doing extremely well at Pearl Academy.” 

Aradhya Ahuja is an Interior Product Design student of Pearl Academy Mumbai, 2013-17 batch and was a part of the group to visit World of Business Ideas, New York 2016. Post this visit, a couple of months later; he applied to Accenture for the UX Designer position. He attributes the credit of his success to Pearl Academy. 

Pearl Academy’s recent collaboration with companies like Amazon and Adobe, is providing new avenues to students to showcase their creations and leverage the power of digital technology. The institute also offers international exposure for every student through tie-ups with renowned higher education institutions such as Domus Academy (Italy), Torrens University (Australia), to name a few.
