Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), KSCA Club House were the winner of the Malleswaram Association Inter-Club Badminton Tournament. Most of the prestigious clubs including the Century club from the Bangalore city participated in the tournament. In the fiercely held battle in the finals played Sunday night at the Malleswaram club Badminton Courts, Winners KSCA defeated Bangalore City Institute (BCI) 3-2 in the finals to lift the Winners Trophy.


In their en-route to the finals KSCA defeated the hosts Malleswarm club in the quarter finals and defeated their Arch-Rivals HBCC Club in the semi-finals and entered the finals. While City Institute defeated Century Club in the quarter  finals and the Canara Union in semi-finals and entered the Finals.


The Malleswaram Badminton Hall was Jam packed with many malleswaram club members, badminton players across the city and their family members gathered to watch the final battle between the KSCA & BCI.


The Inter-club matches were held in five age categories namely open Doubles, above 35, Above 40, Above 50 & Above 60 years of age. KSCA beat BCI in three of the five categories. The final score was 3-2 in favor of KSCA. 
Immediately after the finals a grand function was organized to distribute the prizes for the Winners and Runners. The colorful award function was followed by dinner for all the players those participated in the tournament. The KSCA Winning Badminton team also included B Akhil former state cricketer & Vinay Mruthyunjaya spokesperson KSCA.
