It was a high voltage day in National Games Village due to enthusiasm of participants came across the country. This Karate Championship had 1400 participants from 23 states and to be proud 3 other countries namely Oman , Srilanka and Nepal. For the first time in Karnataka,  they have organised the best of 5 on 5 game in the Pro-Kabaddi Format. All together it was second time organised in India. The Tournament was inaugurated by General secretary of Karate Association Mr.Bharath Sharma and Technical Committee Referee commission chairman Altaf Alam from Chennai in the presence of  celebrity guest Mr.Stunt Siva.


Sharath Kumar from Bengaluru placed with 1st Rank by beating Susheel on 2nd place as Runner up on below 75kgs individual boys division kumita. Then coming with the under 55kg Individual Boys Kumita won by localite K.Karthik itself by following him Akhil Gandhi from Telangana State placed with Runner up.  Jagruth MP placed 1st Rank in Under 15 years Kata Open Grand Championship. 


Pruthvi Raj placed with 2nd  in the same event. Aravind placed with 1st Rank in Under 16 years Individual Kumita and Arka Banarjee won the First place in Above 17 years Kata Individual Championship. In the end Vignesh Raj won the 1st place in Above 15 years Kata Grand Championship. All the winning participants won the trophy and medal with cash prize distributed by the chief guests in the event.

·         FIRST PLACE: MP Jagruth


·         SECOND PLACE: Pruthviraj
 


Below 16 years-individual kumite 


·         FIRST PLACE: Arvind


·         SECOND PLACE: Santosh


·         THIRD PLACE: MP Jagruth


 


Above 17 years-Kata individual 


·         FIRST PLACE: Arka Banerjee


·         SECOND PLACE: Arjunnath Karlvatcha
 


Kata open grand championships (above 15 years)
