The virtual event saw the launch of awards.bcic.in portal to invite nominations from CFOs across the state of Karnataka for awards in 11 categories covering different sectors and themes. The highlight of the awards function is the culmination of presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The jury for the awards is chaired by Mr. TV Mohandas Pai, Former Director (Finance and HR) Infosys Ltd & Chairman - Manipal Group, Mr. PR Ramesh, Former Chairman - Deloitte India, Mr. Suresh Senapathy, Former Executive Director & CFO - Wipro Ltd, Mr. FR Singhvi, Joint Managing Director - Sansera Engineering Ltd and Mrs. Usha Narayanan, Retired Partner - PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Deloitte is the Knowledge Partner.
‘Recognising key Trendsetters’
“BCIC is instituting the CFO Excellence Awards to recognise the CFOs who have contributed as Change Catalysts during the pandemic and have been the torch bearers for Business Transparency, Corporate Governance and Fiscal Prudence. The CFOs had to wear multiple hats in ensuring that the organisation stays resilient and could come out of the pandemic without distress.
On the occassion, Mr. KR Sekar, President and Partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, BCIC said the awards are instituted with the objective of identifying and honouring Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) who have demonstrated outstanding acumen and gone out of the way to keep business afloat.
Last date to apply for the awards is February 20, 2022 and Award Ceremony in April 2022.
