Mr. K R Sekar, President said government's decision to provide relief package to the financially stressed sector will ensure a healthy competition and growth of telecom industry. He also said that the telecom sector is one the prime movers of the economy and also the key enabler for making India a Digital Society.


Dr. L Ravindran, Senior Vice President, said with these announcements telcom industry in particular and overall digital Infrastructure industry in general is poised for exponential growth that will bridge India's digital divide exponentially create jobs across semi- skilled and skilled work force. He further said that telcom industry cuts across manufacturing, Software and Hardware sectors and is one of the force multiplier industries.


Mr. Ram Sellaratnam, CEO and Managing Director of iBus Networks one of the largest neutral host digital infrastructure player said the removal of 49% limit for automatic approval for FDI into Telcom sector will incentivize domestic Telco/connectivity tech companies to build advanced ORAN/5G solutions for not only India market but also global markets. The clarity provided on AGR a contentious issue is laudable for its decisiveness and long-term view.
