The event marked the 25th Anniversary of Abhinava Dance Company which was started by Ms. Nirupama and Mr. Rajendra. The three-day event, scheduled for 14th, 15th & 22nd February kickstarted at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru. 


The festival celebrated the artistic journey of the Founder & Director Nirupama & Rajendra of Abhinava Dance Company. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp ceremony by Dr Ashwath Narayan C.N, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sudha Murthy- Chairperson Infosys Foundation & Author, Saroj Khan-renowned Bollywood Choreographer, Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, Shri M N Venkatachaliah - Former Chief Justice of India, Mr Mark Van De Vreken - Consul General of Belgium, Shri Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma - Chairman of Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy, Shri D.P.Anantha - Trust Board Member of TTD, Shri S Rangappa - Director of Kannada and Culture and Shri K Kalyan - Indian Song Writer and Music composer.


The Founder & Director Ms Nirupama and Mr. Rajendra also, felicitated the guests attending the event. The event featured Rama Katha Vismaya by Abhinava Dance Company - a musical dance that immerses the audience into a fantasy of a child(Krishna) while his mother (Yashoda) narrates a bedtime story about the wonders of Rama, the performance was appreciated and given a standing ovation by the audience and the guests.
