Jain (Deemed to be University) organized SAMPRADAANA – A pride of saving lives through blood donation

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in association with Namma Wellness (Health Care Partner), supported by rotary clubs have taken up this noble initiative of hosting a voluntary blood donation camp, during the second week of July 2019. The motive of the initiative, to encourage the young blood donors was witnessed through the exciting response received from student & faculty member participants. The event was a grand success with the support of NCC, NSS students of the University, 15 doctors and nurses making the donors feel comfortable and safe throughout the process. 


The day-long drive was organized across various campuses of Jain (Deemed-to-be University), namely, School of Sciences (J C Road), School of Commerce Studies (Jayanagar 9th Block), School of Humanities and Social Sciences (Palace Road) and Center for Management Studies (Lalbagh Road). 


The event fulfilled the purpose by collecting 333 units of blood from the donors and depositing it safe with Victoria, Jain hospital, NIMHANS and KIDWAI hospitals of Bangalore. A large number of teachers and students donated blood with beaming faces and proud hearts.
