Social Entrepreneur, Ms. Krupalatha Martin Dass won the title Mrs. Inter-Nations USA 2018-2019 and finished second at the ‘Classic Mrs. Inter-Nations 2018-2019’ organized by Bahmish Pte Ltd in Singapore. The pageant is a prestigious International platform for unmarried and married women of all nations to showcase their beauty, personality, talent, and Intellect. The motto of Mrs. Inter-Nations pageant is to promote women from all walks of life and to extend opportunities to them to make a difference on a global scale. Krupa represented the United States of America in the contest and finished second in the contest.
Speaking on the occasion Krupa said “It is an honor and privilege to have won the Runners up title at this prestigious contest. It was my first experience of participating in a pageant of this magnitude and scale. I dedicate my success to my SUKRUPA family”
Growing up in a small scale industrial neighborhood, Krupa and her family helped hundreds of children complete schooling. In the year 2000, out of passion Krupa funded her mother to set up the weekend program for underprivileged children in R.T.Nagar, Bangalore. That eventually led her to end her lucrative career in the USA to set up SUKRUPA along with her mother Suguna while vacationing during summer of 2002.
SUKRUPA has been highly successful in creating opportunities for first generation learners. Today over 500 children are getting education through various programs they run, academics, creativity and sports are integral part of schooling.
