Jain (Deemed-to-be University) celebrates ‘Sparsh & Rotanival’- Touching Lives and Spreading Happiness

Sparsh event was made even more successful through a fund raiser event Rotanival, conducted by Rotaract Club of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). A glance of PubG, a fiesta where fun was witnessed through a flash mob. Exciting games, food stalls, fun activities, and many other stalls were exhibited. A talent show event was also organized for the students to showcase their talent

Rotaract Club of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) sponsored by Rotary Bangalore Cubbon Park, organized a mega community service fair – Sparsh. This event was organized for the students with an objective to let them know about society, the difficulties and how they overcome them with every passing day. 


The event made success by organizing 55 community service projects, and it was headed by a Project Head - Rtr Keyur Shantilal Satra and Project Co-Chair- Rtr Harsh Devendra Bhandari. The event had four winners namely Kejal, Deepti, Siddharth, and Raghu Nandhan who contributed their efforts for the welfare in fields like Health, Education, Hygiene, Environment and Waste Management and Society. 


Through this community service fair, the students have remarkably focused on public health and donated ECG strips, hemoglobin injections, artificial limb transplantationsa conducted a free eye camp at old-age home. 


The students have served orphan children by conducting workshops, a yearlong computer application course and teaching various subjects. They have also made a remarkable change in underdeveloped areas by educating and providing free sanitary napkins and sexual wellness kits and have created awareness about HIV, sex education, personal hygiene,and others.


As a part of the Environment and Waste Management project, the students have planted saplings, provided garbage bags and spread awareness about waste management to the localities. They also cleaned public parks in JP Nagar. The students conducted betterment programs for the society by providing necessary items for CUPA animal adoption center. The community service fair created an impact around 5000 people through a team effort of 1000 students.
