Clad in bright yellow, it was a delight to see the staff and students of Grade 1, 2, and 3 of Jain Heritage School (JHS) celebrating the vibrant festival of the state of Karnataka – Kannada Rajyotsava. The day is quite important for Kannadigas and the residents of the state. It was no different for the little ones at JHS.
Observing Kannada Formation Day has been one of the most important celebrations at JHS, shaping students to be more sensitive and tolerant of all cultures and communities. The kids had a memorable opportunity to perform before the chief guests for the day – Dr. Rajesh, Senior Kannada Actor, and SihiKahiChandru, Kannada TV Serial & Film Actor. The children expressed their love for the state’s culture by depicting stories of Kannada tradition. Stories and incidents of the Kannada tradition like BhakthaPrahlada, traditional dance art forms were part of the performances that the children staged for the audience.
