Emirates bags ‘International Airline of the Year’title at BIAL Pinnacle Awards 2018

For the third time in a row, Emirates SkyCargo was also crowned ‘Best International Cargo Airline’ at the Pinnacle Awards. Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has been recognisedwith three prestigious awards at the BIAL Pinnacle Awards 2018. The airline was awarded Customer Choice Airline of the Year – International Full Service, Airline of the Year – International Full Service and Best International Cargo Airline by the Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL).


Since the institution of the Awards in 2014, Emirates has been honoured 14 times – a testament to the airline’s commitment to the Bengaluru market.

With 21 weekly flights, Emirates’ service to Bengaluru has proven to be an indispensable choice for travelers. Over the years, many customer experience initiatives were launched, including in-flight baggage notification for delayed baggage, home-printed boarding pass, while registering on-time performance that exceeds industry standards. In FY2017-18, more than 6.8 lakh passengers, including infants, were carried by Emirates in Bengaluru.
